Oddly enough, it’s been a pretty good one in Ireland this year. Though we totally deserve it after the terrible summers we had the past few years. Everything’s been great this year, Dublin Pride was amazing. Seems like a distant booze-filled blur ago now. So while we’ve got the most of the summer weather, I’ve decided to do a little mix of some of my favourite songs of the summer. There’s been some great music in the last couple of months. I’ve called it Skinny Dipping cause that’s something we all do in summer right?

To celebrate I decided it was high time I did another podcast mix. This one is packed full of my favourite songs of late. It’s nice and uplifting. Like a nice Victoria sponge it’s nice and light but has a bit of a darker heavier side like a slice of Black Forrest Gateaux. One or two blips along the way but sometimes cakes, or podcasts don’t turn out perfectly. Enjoy, download, comment, share.

It’s been a while so thought it was about time. Two important things to note, it’s a little loud as I forgot to adjust the levels when recording it from my mixer into GarageBand so watch the ears! There are two very small mistakes in there (see if you can spot them) and while normally I’d freak out about them (being a perfectionist has its downside!) I’ve decided to leave them in there. After all it’s recorded live and sure everyone makes mistakes.

Still doing some tweaking on bits and pieces of the site but wanted to get a post up to let you know what’s happening. I’ll be adding more content over the next few days so keep an eye out. And if anything breaks or is broken I’m probably working on fixing it already. It’s all a little rough round the edges right now.

In the meantime to celebrate my return, I’ve created a little podcast mix. I did this yesterday afternoon as a post Bank Holiday Weekend wind-down mix but it’s got some nice funky, uplifting house chooooons. It’s called Mayday Mix. Give it a whirl and let me know what you think.
