Unfortunately, some time over the past weekend my trusty 4G iPod and I parted company. It’s a long story but basically she’s gone. She may some day return but I don’t hold much hope. The idea of walking to work sans tunes wasn’t a nice one. My new phone doesn’t have a radio so I [...]
Today, Apple released the iPod nano; a complete replacement for the iPod mini. On first impressions the nano looks absolutely beautiful. Slim, small, compact and dripping with all the hallmarks of Apple design. In ditching the mini and going flash-based, Apple have been able to significantly reduce the size of the overall unit. AppleInsider reports that it was because of a “disagreement” with IMRO that the decision to halt the store was taken. As Rory spotted the text on Apple’s UK site (which has now been removed) initially listed Ireland [...]

Nine more countries were added to the mix, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain can now download music via iTMS. Still no word on Ireland but here’s hoping it will be when the remaining EU countries are brought online if not sooner. Canada [...]
As you may have noticed I’ve been tweaking the design a little over the past couple of days. There’s a new header image (in case you’re wondering, is a picture of the inside of the glass pyramid in the Louvre taken in Paris recently) and I’ve tidied up the CSS a little. I’ve also managed [...]
