Confessions Tour

Confessions TourThis week, the Queen of Pop herself [Madonna to the uninitiated!] announced the dates of her Confessions Tour. Tickets for the London dates go on sale to the general public this Friday. ICON fan-club members got to buy theirs today. I have to admit I was quite excited by the announcement of the dates but what didn’t excite me was the prices! Tickets start at STG£80 then STG£110 and then STG£160. No problem I thought, up early on Friday morning to try and bag myself a couple of the £80 babies. After looking at the seating plan for her concert it appears that the majority of the tickets are in the £160 bracket, leaving very little room for the £80-ers. That’s €230 (at today’s rates). Ridiculous money. I love her and all but it’s way too much. Not forgetting flights and accommodation for the night/weekend, you’d be looking at about €500-€600.

So looks like London, Madonna and I weren’t meant to be. My only other hope is that the tickets for Cardiff go on sale in two weeks time. They might not be as expensive but who knows. There’s still plenty of room in the concert dates, so Madge, if you’re reading, Dublin would love to see you!

very upset about Madge, was looking forward to going to London to see her but feck it there is no way I am paying that much, didn’t I hear a rumour she was playing in GAY and there were tickets going on sale soon for it, might be alot cheaper there??????

She did a gig at G-A-Y to launch Confessions, haven’t heard anything about a gig in G-A-Y for the tour. 1,000 people queued through the night to get tickets to the last gig so even if they are cheaper, the chances of getting them would be quite slim I’d imagine.

Here’s hoping Cardiff is cheaper, it’s on sale soon so will have to keep my fingers crossed!
