Today it’s expected that Apple will announce their online music service. Allowing users to download songs for US$0.99. Also expected is iTunes 4 and new iPods. It will be later this evening before news reaches this side of the Atlantic.
Not a bad weekend overall. Friday headed out with the work crowd for a leaving do thing. Was a good laugh and fun was had by all. Got home completely wasted!

Apple have formally announced details of Music Store, iTunes 4 & new versions of the iPod. The new versions are 15Gb and 30Gb. I’m now seriously thinking about a 15Gb model. On sale internationally from May 9th. It does look fabulous. Especially with the new dock. Now where did I put my credit card…
It’s time once again to wish everyone all the best in their exams. If you have started already, hope they’re all going well and if you’re starting on Wed [as most people seem to be] then I hope they all go off without a hitch!

Today’s Irish Times reports that eircom signed up 1,000 new DSL customers in the first week of the new tariffs. They also handled another 5,000 calls inquiring about the new service. We should have ours soon. Modem is on the way [may arrive today, if not Monday] and we’re just waiting on the eircom install [...]
